Beyond that there is no judgement about the choices you make with the information you are given. Our aim is to support you in your decisions, whatever they may be.
Our labour care is offered over three sites and you can also choose to have a home birth.
The Royal Infirmary is situated in the city centre and provides care for over 6,000 pregnant women each year. The General Hospital is situated east of Leicester approximately 4 miles from the city centre and provides care for over 4,000 pregnant women a year. St Marys Birth Centre in Melton Mowbray provides care for 200 women a year, with many women using the centre choosing to have a water birth (40%).
